Jonas Carpenter

Jonas is an Indiana native, born and raised in the beautiful Hoosier forests.  Over the years he has helped run a large greenhouse operation, worked various landscaping jobs, studied environmental studies at Indiana University, and served farm to table food in Bloomington.  Growing up digging and learning in his grandparents’ gardens, Jonas has continued to grow food and build soil throughout his life.  After taking his P.D.C. in June of 2010, Jonas interned with Peter Bane and Keith Johnson of Renaissance Farm.   Using the skills he developed before discovering Permaculture Design and the knowledge he now obtains from diving deep into the Permaculture world, Jonas looks at a planet in disarray that craves well designed systems and he wants to help individuals and communities discover the abundant natural wealth that comes with living in harmony with the ecosystems around us.  Jonas is part owner of the nursery and offers design, consultation, and landscaping services to the local area.
