Permaculture is a philosophy of designing human ecosystems that mimic and integrate peacefully with natural ones. Originally coined as a form of Permanent Agriculture by Aussies Bill Mollison an David Holmgren, Permaculture was intended as a way of rethinking sustainable food production by looking at how native & aboriginal tribes survived successfully for thousands of years; however, both soon realized that sustainable systems must also work to redefine community interaction as well.

A great website for learning about the Ethics and Principles of Permaculture can be found at the Permaculture Principles website.

Along with Edible Landscape Design, I hope to inspire people to proactively create healthier environments through Permaculture.  I believe education is an important part of this process and will continue to provide information here below.  If you are interested in learning more about Permaculture, please consider signing up for my Education Package for groups or individuals!
